The name C.A.M.P. is an acronym that stands
for “Construzione Articoli Montagna
Premana”, which is the Italian for “Articles for Mountaineering Made in Premana”.
Nicola Codega started manufacturing mountaineering equipment in
Premana in 1889. More than a hundred and twenty years later the company is
distributing its products to more 65 countries – but it still calls Premana
home.
In addition to its wide range of carabiners (including probably the widest range of lockers, anywhere) CAMP also manufactures a full line of mountain hardware including ice axes, harnesses, ascenders, helmets and apparel. www.camp-usa.com |
