Although it has broadened its range since, Omega Pacific started out twenty five years ago with the mission of building carabiners and making them affordable. Some of its signature Carabiner features include:

• Flat-spin riveting – to make sure rivets are flush with gates
• True radii – no flat spots on all rope bearing surfaces. Standard on all Omega biners
• Side-Swing Gates – provide increased gate clearance
• Hooded gates – for smoother rope bearing surfaces
• Tapered noses – for increased strength
• ISO cold forging – allowing a hot-forged design at a reasonable, cold-forged cost.

In addition to Carabiners, Omega Pacific also manufactures a wide range of other mountain hardware including rock protection, quickdraws and Alpine/ice gear.
